The NPP Women’s Organizer for the Manso Adubia constituency, Miss Ruth Osei, has once again demonstrated her commitment to supporting education in the area. As part of her annual educational initiative, she donated exercise books and pens to students of Manso Datano Methodist Primary School and Datano D/A Primary School.
This gesture follows her donation of school uniforms to selected schools in the constituency last year, marking another effort to improve education for the children of Manso Adubia.
Speaking at the donation ceremony, Miss Osei emphasized the importance of education and the NPP government’s focus on ensuring quality education for all. She encouraged parents to continue supporting the party and to consider the positive impact of the government’s policies as the 2024 general elections approach.
“I urge all parents and guardians to recognize the good works of the NPP government and give us another term in office to continue these efforts. Together with Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, our Member of Parliament, we will continue to provide the necessary support to ensure that every child in this constituency has access to quality education,” she stated.
Miss Osei further urged the people of Manso Adubia not to fall for propaganda from other political parties, stressing that the NPP is the only party with a clear vision for the development of the constituency. She advised the students to focus on their studies, assuring them that their future success is closely tied to their education.
“The current NPP executives in the Manso Adubia constituency are united and committed to the educational welfare of children in this area. We remain focused on doing all we can to improve learning conditions,” she added.
Receiving the donation, the headteacher of Manso Datano Methodist KG and Primary School, Mr. Karikari Francis, expressed his gratitude to Miss Osei for her continuous support to the school. He also took the opportunity to appeal to the government for additional resources, including the posting of more teachers to address the current shortage, which is hindering effective teaching and learning.
“We are facing serious challenges with teacher shortages, and it’s affecting the quality of education we provide. More teachers would help us ensure better academic performance. We also need essential resources such as dual desks, computers, staff accommodation, and a fence wall for improved security,” he noted.
Mr. Francis also urged the students to take their studies seriously and avoid engaging in illegal mining activities (galamsey), which have become a concern in the area.
The students of Datano D/A Primary School expressed their appreciation for Miss Osei’s kind gesture, noting that the exercise books and pens would greatly aid their studies.
Miss Ruth Osei’s donation is part of her continued efforts to promote education within the Manso Adubia constituency, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically.
