A 20-year-old homemaker was killed allegedly by her husband in Phulpur upazila of Mymensingh yesterday afternoon.
Quoting the neighbours, Md Abdullah Al Mamun, officer-in-charge of Phulpur Police Station, said Md Robin allegedly beat up his wife Sharmin over family feud at Dhanarvita village in Phulpur yesterday afternoon.
Locals rescued injured Sharmin and took her to Phulpur Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared her dead around 5:00pm.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Police detained three people including Robin.
