LACK OF JOBS AND RITUAL PROGRAMS ON SOME TV STATIONS ARE THE REASONS BEHIND THE RECENT KILLINGS IN THE COUNTRY – PROFESSOR NANA OSEI PIESIE ANTHOH.

Retired lecturer of Ghana Technology University College who’s also the chief elect at Krom-Adwafo in the Bosomtwe district of Ashanti Professor Nana Osei Piesie Anthoh has made a statement that, the recent killing issues in the country is as a result of lack of jobs for the youths and also the showing of ritual programs on some of our television stations.

He explained further that, as most of the youths are jobless, they are desperate to make money by any means and money rituals programs are available on some of our television stations, they get themselves involved and causing their fellows lives for money which is very dangerous for the country’s security.

He mentioned again that, the punishment given to the murder culprits are too weak and again, some prominent peoples also step into the case to bribe the authorities in charge of the case to free the culprits unlawfully and such attitudes does not deter others from commiting the same crime.

He appealed to government to create jobs for the youths and also stop ritual activities on our television stations and again strengthen the laws against crime to deter others from doing the same.
