KNUST IS READY FOR FIRST BATCH OF FREE SHS 2020/21 ACADEMIC YEAR

The university Relations Officer of Kwame Nkrumah university of science and technology KNUST in Kumasi, Dr Daniel norris Bekoe has announced that the university is ready to admit a number of first batch students to be coming from free senior high school to 2020/21 academic year.





He said, the university authorities has been able to used part of it internal generated fund to constructed number of additional hostels facilities that will help to accommodate most such students.









Dr Daniel Norris Bekoe was speaking during the media interaction to officially introduced himself to the media practitioners also to establish strong relationship with them in order to maintain the university reputation in the international community.





He moreover assured the general public and parents that, their students are enjoying peaceful environment with strong security arrangements made up with the internal and the regional security RESEC to maintain law and order.





He highlighted on the new interventional policy been introduced introduced by the university authorities known as FOOD BANK” aim at giving support to the brilliant but needy students who get offer to study at the university but have problems with financial background.





He maintained that, the university is collaborating with individual institutions and cooperate organizations to solicit for food items, products and financial support to enable them give assistant to those people.













He used the opportunity to appeals to cooperate institutions,NGOs and individual to come to their aid to help fulfill the mission ahead of them since it can save others from difficulties.
