Obey road regulations to prevent lorry accidents-DVLA boss charged drivers

The district manager of Driver And Vehicle Licencing Authority (DVLA) for Bekwai municipality, Mr Albert Agyeman-Weitey has warned drivers to stay away from activities that will go contrary against road safety management such as over speeding and other related offences to reduce road accidents during this Christmas festivities.

He said, some of the drivers used the number of passengers who are stranded along the roads during Christmas occasion and always involves in overloading of passengers which always denied them from insurance package when involves in accidents.

Mr Albert Agyeman-Weitey was speaking to the media as part of measures putting up ahead to help prevent road accidents during this Christmas occasion at Bekwai.

He however expressed gratitude to the government, the director general, management of DVLA and staffs who have supported the authority through the year 2020.
