Methodist J.H.S closed Down as Hooligans Force Teacher to Kneel Down and apologize to Students.
The Ghana Education Service has closed down Akyem Anyinasin Methodist Junior High School in Abuakwa North Municipality in Eastern Region for security reasons.
The decision to close down the School temporary follows an attacked of gang hooligans who forced a teacher to Kneel down and apologize to students for punishing them.
According to Starfm.com, the teacher descipline some students for misconduct on Monday, 24th July, 2022.
The unhappy students reported the case to some town folks who then approached the teacher while he was on his way home, the irritate Hooligans forced the teacher to Kneel and apologize to the students and threaten to deal with deal with them.
The incident got the attention of the Abuakwa North Municipal Education Directorate and a decision was taken to temporary Shut the school down.
The Abuakwa North Municipal Education Director visited the school on Thursday, July 28, 2022 to meet the school management and other stakeholders.
