Samuel Nuamah Donkor is a Ghanaian politician and social worker. He was a Minister for Health, an Ashanti Region Minister, and a member of Ghana’s first parliament in the fourth republic, representing the New Juaben North electorate as a member of the National Convention Party.
Mr. Samuel was the former Managing Director of Intercity STC Coaches Limited, Samuel Nuamah Donkor, has passed on at age 63.

Mr. Samuel Nuamah Donkor served as Minister of Health in the Rawlings administration and later as the Ashanti Regional Minister until the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lost election in 2020.
He became Managing Director of STC and handed it over to Nana Akomea in 2017.

Mr. Samuel Nuamah Donkor left behind a wife, Mrs. Irene Nuamah Donkor and five children.
He served as a Member of the First Parliament of the Fourth Republic (Jan 7, 1993, to Jan 6, 1997), representing the New Juaben North seat as a member of the National Convention Party (NCP).
In 1982, the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) designated him as the Deputy Regional Coordinator for Peoples Defence Committees and Workers Defence Committees (PDCs / WDCs), with an additional position as coordinator for New Juaben from 1982 to 1992.
He was appointed Deputy Minister of Health under Jerry John Rawlings’ cabinet in 1996 before becoming the formal Minister of Health in 1998.
