Kwabre and its environs is known to be a hub of craft work and a kente weaving areas that provide roaming venture for tourist attraction but bad road network is the majors problem stirring the development of the area.
The people of Kwabere are very special people all because of their creativity in artisans.
Notable among them are Ahwiaa calving village, Ntonso Adinkra Village, Adanwomase and Kente Villages among others.
Due to this many personalities troop in the various countries to transact business with them but bad road network is hammering the progress of the area.
But when it comes to development in the area, they have a deficit especially when it comes to roads, drivers and passengers always raises concerns about the traffic situation in the Municipality but the leadership of this country has refused to solve this problem for them
Frank Adusei who is a seasoned journalist from kessben news took upon himselves to speak with some residents and drivers in the area how they traffic situation in the area is affecting their day to day activities.
They opined that Kwabere is one of the biggest community that positively contributed immensely for the victory of the ruling New Patriotic Party but they have turned back to them.
In an interview with concerned citizens and a residents of the area, they said they are very disappointed in the authorities especially their Member of Parliament and the District Chief executive) of the area, stressing these two keen leaders have failed the people in Kwabere and they don’t even deserve to be called leaders since they have failed us big time.
They said the Traffic situation in the area is very pathetic and their day to day activities has became predicament as a result of some tiny potholes in three areas of the Municipality namely, Abass Junction, Ahwiaa Overseas and and Jesus Power.
They said these areas that have developed so many potholes have been reported to the municipal Chief Executive including the municipal assembly including their parliamentarian but it has yielded no fruit.
So now we are calling on the government and the Roads and Highways minister as matter of urgency to come into our aid or else we will find alternative solution and the solution may not go well with our leaders. ” They lamented”.
