Effiduase traditional council appeals to president to reject incumbent DCE over incompetency

Chiefs of the Effiduase traditional council have made a humble appeal to the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo to reject their incumbent DCE, Mad. Mary Boatemaa Marfo.
The traditional council calls on the president to rather appoint a competent person for the DCE position at the expense of the current one.

Speaking to the media in a press briefing, chief of the Effiduase traditional area, Nana Adu Ameyaw II said the council rejects the DCE for her gross incompetence and disregard for the chiefs.
According to him the DCE’s incompetency coupled with her regular feud with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew pushed the traditional council to invite both parties for peace settlement where the DCE dishonored any of the chief’s invitation on several occasions.
“We are not saying this to mean the DCE is our enemy. We always yield for development and the DCE is not in that competence position, as there’s no record to attest her developmental landmark. DCE who is never ready to side developmental agenda with chiefs is not worth for re-appointment”, the chief said.

He disclosed that reappointment of the DCE to work with a Member of Parliament she is not in good term with will be a worst case for the people of the area.

Adding his voice, chief lindquist of the traditional council, Okyeame Atta Owusu Antwi said the traditional council had not eye any particular person for the position. But they are of the view that the best way the area could witness peace and development at a speedy rate is when the current DCE is out of post.
“Youths within this area are more angry at the DCE calling for her dismissal, and not we the chiefs alone”. He said.
