Dr. Victor Gadri Donates to Over 300 Widows, Urges Churches to Support the Vulnerable

A renowned philanthropist and member of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Dr. Victor Gadri, has made a passionate appeal to religious leaders across the country to prioritise the needs of the vulnerable and less privileged members in their communities.

Dr. Gadri made this call during one of his regular donation exercises at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana – Victory Congregation, located at Compound in Dunkwa-On-Offin. The gesture, which forms part of his bi-monthly philanthropic activities, benefited over 300 widows drawn from the area.

This particular donation featured four bales of second-hand clothing, commonly known as “Fose Bale”, which were freely distributed to the widows. The initiative seeks to bring relief to individuals who continue to face economic hardship and social neglect.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Gadri emphasized that the Church’s fundamental mission extends beyond preaching the gospel. He stated that while proclaiming peace, hope, and love remains essential, it is equally important for churches to demonstrate these values through practical support for the vulnerable in society.

“The Church must not only focus on providing comfort and privilege to its leadership,” Dr. Gadri stated, “but also take deliberate steps to address the needs of the ordinary member who might be struggling silently.”

The widows, visibly touched by the gesture, showered heartfelt blessings and appreciation on Dr. Gadri, commending him for consistently demonstrating love and compassion through his acts of giving.

Dr. Gadri’s consistent support for widows, students, and other disadvantaged groups has won him admiration within and beyond the religious community. He reiterated his commitment to continue these donations as a way of living out his faith and inspiring others to do the same.

The event ended on a joyous note as beneficiaries not only received material items but also felt uplifted by the spirit of generosity and inclusion shown by the Church through Dr. Gadri’s example.
