Fuel dealers in Ahanti region are crying over continue power outage which said is collapsing their business and will render many of their staffs jobless if the government failed to address the situation

Speaking to Oyerepa news, the General Manager of Maaban Goil Filling Station in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region, Nana Osei Antwi said, their Businesses are collapsing because of this ‘dumsor’ crisis and all that government officials can do, is to give lame excuses and time table to enable them put out proper arrangements.

He said, some of them are using Solar panels to support their operations in this era of Dumsor but it is not enough to meet their demands of Power.

He maintened that, people are loosing their jobs day in day out all because some few incompetent group of politicians are taking inconsiderate decisions that is negatively affecting the lives of the Ghanaian majority.

According to Nana Osei Antwi, dumsor has impacted negatively on their business, saying “if the stability at the power sector continues like this very soon some of us will be out of business.”

He revealed that, Nationalism and patriotism have become very deficient in Ghana today absolutely nobody thinks about the country first; we all think about ourselves first, our families second, our parties third, maybe, our communities fourth and Ghana comes a distant fifth or sixth or even tenth.

‘If you have leaders with these features then obviously it become difficult for the people to be inculcated in them the spirit of patriotism,” he said.

However, he called on Nananom, Council of State cabinet to advised the government as mater of urgency to fix the electricity crisis in the country.
