Residents of Mankessim in the Central Region have been thrown into a state of fear and shock after they spotted a dead man’s body on the streets of the town on Wednesday evening.
The deceased is yet to be identified as residents say they do not know him.
An inspection of the body conducted by officers of the Mankessin Divisional Police Command saw no visible marks of murder and none of his body parts had been removed.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Municipal Government Hospital at Saltpond pending autopsy.
Investigations have commenced into the incident.
