A 55-year-old woman has been allegedly stabbed to death at Begoro in the Eastern Region.
Information from the Eastern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh, indicated that she was found motionless in a pool of blood with multiple cutlass wounds.
Neighbours then rushed her to the Begoro Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Brother of the deceased, Keabu Aboagye, is being suspected for the crime though it is not clear whether the two had any misunderstanding days before the incident.
Police after inspection found the multiple cutlass wounds all over the upper body of the deceased.
The body is at the Begoro Hospital mortuary.
The suspect is on the run as police make efforts to get him arrested for investigations to commence.
