Some residents of affected areas like : Alhaji Salia, Ejisu Krapa, Old Krapa, Bronikrom, Kobriem, Metro fm, Firefox service,Donaso, Onwe, Ejisu, Domeabra, Apromase, Kwamo high way and Ejisu Asawase in the Ejisu municipality have blamed Ejisu municipal Assembly for the unsanitary conditions, the concerns of the residents are they have worked with Zoomlion Ghana Limited for the past Seven (7) years without any issues.
About three months ago they were informed by the Assembly that, they have rezoned the municipality and their area have been assigend to another waste management contractor. Since the new contractor took over, they have not been lifting their waste and the unsanitary conditions we find ourselves in is unbearable.
Some residents interviewed complained of some challenges they have been going through which is very disturbing like housefly, mosquitoes which could easily trigger disease outbreak due to the stench from the bins.
They appeal to the authorities of Ejisu municipal Assembly to bring back Zoomlion Ghana LTD to continues the good works started before any disease outbreak.
