Bosome Freho MP launches A.D Boateng Education Fund to help needy students.

The Member of Parliament for Bosome freho Constituency in the Ashanti Region Hon Akwasi Darko Boateng has launched what he calls the A.D. Boateng Education Savings Fund to support brilliant but needy students in the constituency to cater for the needy but brilliant with the seed money of GH$ 30,000 and pledged to support GH$ 20,000 every year.

According to him,the only key to successful leaving is to have access to education and therefore urged the citizens of Bosome freho to support his fund to cater for the needy but brilliant students whose family are unable to support them in their quest to attain a higher level of education.

He promised to give out his best and continue with the good works for the smooth development of Bosome Freho Constituency.

He charged the committee that will spearheaded the affairs of of the funding not to be bias but assess applicant thoroughly to ensure they are from such a poor home.

At the event, MP Hon Akwasi Darko Boateng donated, 1500 school uniforms, 130 sewing machines, 2400 nose masks, 2400 hand Sanitizers, 30 sterilize cabinet, 50 shaving machine for Barbars , 5 boxes of matchets and 5 boxes of Wellington Boots for Farmers.

On his part, the Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Yaw Attakora Amaniapong, the MP for his kindness, admitting that they have never seen a down to earth MP like their MP, who have the listening ear to listen to the cries of his constituents.

He was of the view that,a time has come for MPs to get in touch with it constituents to ascertain their necessary needs in order to lobby for the Constituency.

He also thanked the MP for the donation, promising him that they will be used for their intended purposes.

Hon. Akwasi Darko Boateng The member of parliament is currently embarking on a Thank You tour in the Bosome Freho constituency together with the entire NPP executives to show appreciation to the electorates which he has also distributed personal protective equipments such as nose masks, hand sanitizers to the various communities to help fight the Covid 19 pandemic.

He also advised them to adhere to the various safety protocols that the president through the Ghana Health Service has put in place.
