BOSOME FREHO M.P HON JOYCE ADWOA AKOH DEI OFFICIALLY INAUGURATED ULTRA MODERN COMMUNITY CENTRE AT ABOSAMSO……..






The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomefreho Constituency Hon Obaatanpa Joyce Adwoa Akoh Dei has today Inaugurated one of its first ultra Modern community centres at Abosamso near Atiwa in the Bosomefreho Constituency in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking to media in an interview at the colourful ceremony of the official inauguration of the Abosamso community centre , Hon. Obaatanpa Joyce Adwoa Akoh Dei “said she was conscious of the promises she made to them before her tenure of office as your MP and as you can see, I won’t renege on them.





I will continue to be selfless in my service to you.”
“I will ensure that this constituency takes its place when it comes to development,”





She therefore urged the residents of Abosamso community to take care of the facility for its internal purposes because they have spent millions of Ghana on the projects.

she disclosed that her decision to build a community centre, which , was borne out of a realization that the communities lack a place to hold social events such as durbars, community meetings and funerals, among others.





“Such social events forge unity and togetherness and common purpose that build into the development of communities;

I am hopeful these centre would be used to maintain the unity and peace prevailing in the area,” she said.





Hon Obaatanpa Joyce Adwoa Dei said ‘ This centre will serve as a shelter for all and sundry when it rains or when the sun is high’.





She explained further that, it would also relieve the people of the burden of hiring canopies for such events.





She therefore urged all the delegates to give her another term to serve and served them better to transform the constituency.

The Chief of Abosamso Nana okokroko sarfo Agyemang and His Elders, commended Hon Joyce Adwoa Akoh Dei for her commitment to selfless service to them.

Your commitment to duty and support for all manner of people especially the vulnerable is commendable.





The Nana Sarfo Agyemang Kokroko, said the roads in the area have not witnessed any form of rehabilitation in many years, hence the urgent need for prompt action to lessen the plight of residents.





Since it was curve away from Bekwai Municipality 12 years ago, the Bosome Freho district of Ashanti has been confronted with the challenge of poor road network. Residents say the sorry state of roads in the area has negatively affected their economic activities, who are predominantly cocoa and vegetable farmers since their produce are left to rot in the farms due to transportation challenges.









The roads in the area especially Asiwa, the district capital to Nsuayem Number 1 and Nsuayem Number 2 to Abosamso and Amomorso to Nsuayem have not witnessed any form of rehabilitation in many years hence the urgent need for prompt action to lessen the plight of residents. These frustrations were expressed by the Chief of Abosamso, Nana Sarfo Agyemang Kokroko.









The gesture forms part of her contribution to seeing to the successful completion of various community self-help projects such as schools, libraries and other community centres in her constituency.
