B/R- CEO Of Union Group Companies Ghana LTD Bequeaths GHC 5,000.00 To A Widow Charcoal Seller

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Union Group companies Ghana Limited Dr. Opoku Agyemang has given Five thousand Ghana cedis Ghc 5,000 to a widow who sells charcoal in Sunyani in the Bono Region of Ghana.

At Yawhima, an outpost of the Sunyani East constituency, the philanthropist bolstered the indigent widow for the hopping amount to promote her charcoal market.

In a privileged interview with Union News Desk, Dr Opoku Agyemang read going according to his trademark, thus ‘‘changing lives, transforming the world’’, it reassures him to uphold the underprivileged in the societies.

During his routine visitations to his branches in Sunyani, he came across the woman, one Madam Elizabeth Mensah a widow at his work premises that is Union Fm, he however asked her of her mission,the woman replied she needed a loan of five thousand Ghana cedis to start a charcoal business.

‘‘After thoughtfully scrutinised her properties, I realised it will be better if she gets a support, so voted to give her the money to she requested for free to initiate her charcoal business’’, Dr Opoku Agyemang boosted.

Dr Opoku Agyemang accordingly forced the moment to call upon other philanthropists to support the widows and destitute in the community if only they have the means.

He mentioned many people are wealthy in the country but they have rebuffed to support even their parents. ‘‘Not everybody can come for help. Even if you are a disabled and beg in the street, there will be no help for you, but be impaired and hardworking. I can support you’’.

Mad. Elizabeth Mensah, [widow], acknowledged him for his compassionate behaviours towards her. She asked for God’s blessings on him and his businesses.
