The Atwima Mponua new patriotic party (NPP) led by the sector Minister of youth and sports, who doubles as MP for the area, on October, 27th organised a health walk and free health screening in the district capital Nyinahin.
The walk recorded an unprecedented massive turn-out in the political history of Atwima Mponua Constituency.
The walk which is to keep members fit and canvases vote in the 2020 elections. The walk which bring together Atwima Mponua NPP old executives, supporters and sympathizers to make unity among them.
Dignitaries that grace the walk was unbelievable, a lot of top-notch sports Journalist across the length and breath of the country, including; Opoku Afriyie sports analyst (Light fm) Atta Poku (Wontumi TV and Radio) Striker (Oyerepa fm) One man supporter (Angel fm Accra) other famous dignitaries like Edmond Ackar, Philippa Baafi (Musician) Berma Sydney (Musician) Yaw Darbo (Actor) Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour) Proff. Twumasi National Sports Authority CEO. NPP executives from National level and Regional level, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana Bee) national youth Organiser, Samuel Pyne (Ashanti Regional Secretary) Francis Adomako (Ashanti Regional Organiser) Dennis Kwakwa (Regional Youth Organiser) Nana Ama Ampomaa (Regional Women Organiser) and all the Constituency executives led by the Constituency Chairman Isaac Kofi Marfo.
The scenes on the streets of Nyinahin last Teusday were approaching to that of National rally where people from 16 regions corners of the country. The crowd was not organised by bussed; they are came from their homes within the Atwima Mponua Constituency.
They were in feeling and expressing overwhelming, Happiness and joyful excitement, sang their party songs, clapped in unison, jogging in a choreography along the principal streets of the District capital, Nyinahin for about four hours nonstop ends at the newly ultramodern sports complex.
All the eminent dignitaries and top-notch personalities spoke in strong affirmation of the good works by the Member of Parliament, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah and President Nana Addo Danqwah Akuffo-Addo in just 3 and half years.
Addressing the crowd, Isaac Kwame Asiamah, MP and Williams Darko, DCE took the opportunity to reiterate the good works of NPP in the Constituency under their leadership.
