Association Of Liberal Muslims-Ghana Calls for Immediate Action Against Minority Leader for Assault on Law Enforcement Officer

We, Association of Liberal Muslims-Ghana, strongly condemn the recent actions of the Minority Leader, which involved verbally and physically attacking a law enforcement officer while on duty. This egregious behavior not only undermines the rule of law but also poses a significant threat to public safety and the integrity of our democratic institutions.

We unequivocally call upon the Ghana Police Service to conduct a swift and thorough investigation into this matter. If the allegations are substantiated, we demand that the Minority Leader be held accountable for their actions, in accordance with the laws of Ghana. No individual, regardless of their position or status, should be above the law.

The safety and security of law enforcement officers, who risk their lives daily to protect our communities, must be prioritized. We stand in solidarity with the officer involved and with all those who uphold the law with dedication and professionalism.

We urge the public to join us in demanding accountability and respect for the rule of law. Together, we can ensure that our democracy remains strong and that those who seek to undermine it are held to account.
