Bosome Freho District Chief Executive Hon. Charles Appiah-Kubi has broken ground for the construction of a health centre at Apewu, a lakeside community.

 

This project aims to improve healthcare access for the communities at large, with funding from the Japan embassy under the Programme Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project ( GGHSP).

The DCE has been actively engaging with communities to address development challenges eversince the Mahama led administration came to power.

Hon. Charles Appiah-Kubi expressed gratitude to the district engineer for his efforts in getting this project off the ground.

He acknowledged the assembly’s commitment to supporting projects, recognising the need for healthcare services at Apewu in the district.

Hon. DCE commended the community leaders for providing the site for this project by highlighting the potential benefits for the community, including improved healthcare accessibility and possible economic growth.

Hon. Charles Appiah-Kubi emphasized that healthcare is one of the top priorities for his government, urging support for the assembly to fulfil their mandate.
