A former security man at Agenda 111 project at Maase near Boaman in the Afigya Kwabre North district of the Ashanti Region, popularly known as “Jesus” has murdered his wife, sister Afia.
The suspect who is said to have come to Maase together with his wife from Tepa was working as a security guard at the project site but lost later lost his job.
It is reported that in recent times, there has been several instances of misunderstandings among the two lovers during which the suspect always threatened to kill the wife as he accused her of cheating.
According to an eyewitness, Nana Sefa, one of such misunderstandings ensued among the couple Monday during which the suspect out of anger fetched a machete and hacked the wife several times, killing her instantly.
He added that, the suspect after murdering the deceased, reported himself to the police and was arrested to assist in investigation.
