Youth in Essienimpong in the Ejisu municipality of the Ashanti Region today staged a peaceful demonstration on the principal streets against their chief Nana Kwaku Appiah Onwawani lll to show their disapproval of lack of development projects in the community.
According to the youth the 11 years of Nana kwaku Appiah Onwawani administration he fails render an account to the people of Essienimpong.
Speaking to media in an interview the vice president of the concern Youth of Essienimpong Mr Eric Nketia used the medium appeal to the His Royal majesty Otumfuor Osei Tutu to intervene to come to their aid.
On his part, Nana Osei Appiah, Nana Kwaku Appiah Onwawani chief linguist urged the aggrieved youth to exercise patient.
He said the youth have their rights to demonstrate but they should bear in their mind that the chief Nana Kwaku Appiah Onwawani has done major developmental projects in the lives of people of Essienimpong community.
He has constructed Community Center, Proposed Chief Palace, Football ground and others.
He has contributed immensely to the education sector in area by providing financial assistance JHS 3 students to start extra classes.
Upon his enthusiasm for this community and they have blind on his contributions.
He is on the right path for future of Essienimpong.
