Media Practitioners Association had send congratulations massage to its member, Mensah Francis popularly know in the media industry as “Adwenpa-Hene Kofi Mensah”and Morning show for winning the Best Youth Radio Presenter of the just ended Youth Awards Ghana 2020. The competition hosted by the Nkay Events Management, saw 6 Nominees giving off their best to win.
Adwenpa-Hene Kofi Mensah who has so far worked as radio Newscaster at GN Radio – Ahoto FM, Enfrans Radio, and currently Sweet FM was on Saturday 30th January ,2021 adjudged the best Youth Radio Presenter for Nkay Event Management dedicated Programmes of the year 2020.
The Maiden Youth Awards Ghana (YGA2020) held at Adum – SSINT Conference hall was attended by high profile personalities including; Francis Addai-Nimoh who is the former member of parliament for Mampong and 2014 NPP Presidential Candidate Aspirant, Francis Owusu-Akyaw minerals Consultant, top politicians, Businessmen/women among others. Youth Awards Ghana is an award scheme that seek to celebrate and reward the hard-working youth personalities, through competition and recognition of excellence at training stage.
On behalf of the Atwima Media Practitioners Association (AMPA), their Secretary Mr. Thomas Awuah Asem, congratulated Adwenpa-Hene Kofi Mensah for making them proud.
According to him , they (AMPA) was not much surprised about the award because Adwenpa-Hene Kofi Mensah is very committed and dedicated to his work.
He encouraged him (Adwenpa-Hene Kofi Mensah) not to relent on his efforts but continue to work extra hard for more awards.
In his short remarks, Adwenpa-Hene Kofi Mensah thanks the Almighty God for the honour. He expressed gratitude to the executives and members of AMPA for their full support. He said the award apart from serving as a motivation also challenges him to work extra hard. Hon Francis Addai-Nimoh, Mr Francis Owusu-Akyaw and Mr Kwabena Frimpong was also honoured by the Organisers of Youth Awards Ghana for their role in championing the course of the Youth throw Support and encouragement the youth as well.
