The Convener and Leader of the 18Plus4NDC says the two leading candidates of the flagbearership race of the running New Patriotic Party (NPP) are not presidential materials.

Ms Bridget Bonnie said Mr Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten Dr Mahamudu Bawumia have not demonstrated the needed skills required of a president.

According to her, both the Vice President and the former Minister for Trade and Industry have failed in their respective roles.

Speaking in an interview with “Ne Korakoraa Ne Sen” on Friday, February 24, she said the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has a better candidate in the person of former President, John Dramani Mahama.

The former Wisconsin University’s SRC President said Mr Mahama has a proven track record.

“Fortunately NDC will present a candidate with track records. Unfortunately, NPP will have no choice than to present either Alan or Bawumia whose records are far below belt”.

She added, “Alan and Bawumia has done nothing to be voted as Presidents of the country.”

She also enumerated numerous projects that were constructed by the former President [John Mahama] and the NDC.

These projects included the University of Ghana Medical Center, Kejetia Central Market, Ga East Hospital, Atuabo Gas Plant, Community Day Schools, etc, which all are found in the Green Book.

“NPP is a political party for sloganeering, they only are good in naming and renaming of existing projects of former governments”, She concluded.

18Plus4NDC is present in Western Region to organise fun games.

This move is aimed at improving social interaction between young people in the region.
