Hon. Benjamin Marfo Assumes Office as Amansie South District Chief Executive

Hon. Benjamin Marfo has officially assumed the role of District Chief Executive (DCE). His appointment was confirmed following a decisive vote by the District Assembly, where he secured 37 out of 38 votes cast, reflecting strong support from the assembly members .
The confirmation ceremony, held in Manso Adubia, the district capital, was attended by local dignitaries, traditional leaders, and community members. During the event, Hon. Marfo expressed his gratitude for the confidence placed in him and pledged to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to advance the district’s development.
In his inaugural address, Hon. Marfo emphasized his commitment to addressing key challenges facing the district, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and youth employment. He called for unity and collective effort to achieve the district’s development goals.
Hon. Marfo’s appointment follows the tenure of Clement Opoku Gyamfi, who served as the DCE since August 2020 . The transition marks a new chapter in the district’s leadership, with expectations high for continued progress and development under Hon. Marfo’s stewardship.
