Mrs. Ansah, who serves as a Specialist at the renowned Greystone Psychiatric Hospital in the USA, was adorned in elegant traditional black cloth and formally swore an oath of allegiance to the Chief of Akuapem Larteh Kubease, Nana Otu Acheampong Agyemfra VI, at the Kubease Palace. The grand ceremony was characterized by rich cultural displays, including the beating of “Fontonfrom” and other traditional drums, symbolizing the significance of the occasion.

“Leadership is a sacred trust,” Nana Otu Acheampong stated. “You must always seek the counsel of your elders, uphold the values of your ancestors, and serve as a unifier for our people. Your success will depend on your ability to lead with integrity and to work towards the sustainable socio-economic development of our community.”

The Chief also reminded Nana Afua Amanorwaa I of the exemplary leadership exhibited by the forebears of the land and urged her to emulate their virtues to ensure a successful reign.

In her acceptance speech, Nana Afua Amanorwaa I expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Chief and people of Akuapem Larteh Kubease for the honor bestowed upon her. She pledged to dedicate herself to the welfare and development of the community.

“I am deeply humbled by this responsibility,” she said. “I promise to uphold the oath I have taken today and work tirelessly for the unity, growth, and well-being of our people, both home and abroad.”

The ceremony drew a large crowd of dignitaries, traditional leaders, residents, and well-wishers who came to witness the historic event and offer their support to the new Apagyahemaa.
