The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has officially welcomed DCOP Teye-Cudjoe, the newly appointed Ashanti Regional Police Commander, in a move aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region.
During the meeting, held at the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), the Minister expressed confidence in the capabilities of the new police chief and assured him of the region’s full cooperation in ensuring law and order.
“We look forward to a strong collaboration in maintaining stability and fostering a secure environment for all,” Hon. Dr. Amoakohene stated.
DCOP Teye-Cudjoe, on his part, reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with all stakeholders to enhance security, fight crime, and promote peace and development in the Ashanti Region.
The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council and the Ghana Police Service have long maintained a strong partnership in addressing security challenges, and this new leadership is expected to further bolster efforts in safeguarding lives and property.
Residents of the Ashanti Region are hopeful that the new Police Commander will continue efforts to curb crime, improve police visibility, and enhance community engagement in security matters.
