Clamping Down Illegal mining -Residents of Denkyira Adaboe demonstrate against military over terrorist attacks, calling president to widraw them 

Chief and people of Denkyira Adaboe in the Upper Denkyira West district of the central Region have complained bitterly over terrorism attacks they are experiencing daily in the hands of military and other security agencies.

The people are calling on government to come to their aid over what they describe as maltreatment meted out to them by military in the area.

According to them,they said military men have taking the law into their hands given them unnecessary beatings, burning their excavators and molested them as if they have defy the government instruction on the fight against galamsey activities.

Addressing the Media to register their displeasure today the chief of Denkyira Adaboe Nana kyei Baffour together with his people in the Adaboe community made passionate appealed to president Akuffo Addo to immediate widraw or have a word of cautioned to the military men to put stop on terrorism, maltreatment and severe beatings, because they don’t want to take the law in to their own hands to fight with the military in the area.

Mr Togbui Korbadzi lll one of the victims whom excavator was burnt into ashes by operation Halt military expressed his disgust to media by calling on president Akuffo Addo to come to his aid because maltreatment by the military is too much.

He said the cost of his excavator machine is Worth 20 billion
He said this is not purpose president Akuffo Addo sent them to do.
