DONASO COMMUNITY GETS 6 UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK IN THEIR FIRST TIME EVER

 

 The Municipal Chief Executive of Ejisu municipality Hon Beatrice Serwaah Darkyi together with Hon lawyer John Kumah MP for Ejisu Constitution and the chief of Donaso and also Mawerehene of Ejisu traditional council Nana Akwasi Agyekum II  have today  commissioned a 6-unit classroom block with kindergarten blocks and ICT center  at Donaso M/A Primary School In the history of the community,  this is the first time EVER  in the history of Donaso  community . 

 

Mrs. Beatrice Serwaah Derkye explained that, the infrastructure is part of government’s agenda to promote free and quality education in the country. she encouraged the people gathered to support government’s vision to educate every child of school going age.

 She finally called on the teachers and guardians gathered to encourage and motivate students to make good use of these facilities given them. She also pleaded with the teachers to observe proper maintenance culture to help sustain the project which will engender more projects to come to the Municipal.

The chief of Donaso  and Mawerehene of Ejisu traditional council Nana Akwasi Agyekum II also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the MCE Hon Beatrice Serwaa Darkyi and MP Hon lawyer John Kumah for the kind gesture.

Speaking to Media at the colourful handover ceremony today, this is what Nana Akwasi Agyekum II has to say.

Hon Dr Lawyer John kumah member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency also donated 200 exercise books,200 pencil and 200 Erasers to the pupils to enhance effective teaching and learning in the school .

Meanwhile the contracto of the project Cephils Co. LTD  Mr Philip Bennel-Yinteman said they will finished and handover the facility by closed of Thursday for the classes to be start.

He urged parents and guardians to invest more in the education of their children.

He said quality education called for sacrifice, stressing that investing in the education of the child was necessary to address child delinquency, and other irresponsible behaviour on the part of children who did not have proper upbringing
