Controversial veteran actor, Nana Kofi Agyeman, who is well-known as Oboy Siki, was on a rampage recently, attacking his colleague, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin for deciding to produce a movie titled ‘Mr. President.’
The attacks intensified on Friday, August 25, 2023, which was just barely twenty-four hours before the premiere of the movie by Lilwin at the SG Mall located in Kumasi.
Oboy Siki was heard in an interview on Accra-based Kingdom FM, during an interview with Fiifi Pratt, saying that the movie was not going to be nice simply because Lilwin decided to act as a president in the movie even though he was aware that he was not fit for that role.
The comments he made during the interviews enraged a lot of people on social media because, in their opinion, the old actor was just hating on the young award-winning actor because he was achieving feats he could not achieve in the movie industry.
Well, after the successful premiere of the movie, Oboy Siki has come out to reveal that his attacks were staged.
According to him during an interview with Ghpage, someone from the camp of Lilwin came to see him and requested that he speak ill of the movie just to give it the media attention it needed, and like magic, the numbers who thronged the SG Mall obviously proved that it worked like magic.
Oboy Siki further emphasized that a lot of people might think he does his things anyhow, but contrary to that opinion, everything he does or says is very calculated.
