A 30-year-old drinking spot operator has been killed by a tipper truck in a fatal accident at Manso Keniago in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region.
The deceased, Mohamed Amoah, reportedly died after he was knocked down by the truck on the evening of Friday June 9,2023.
Some residents in an interview with OTEC News Jacob Agyenim Boateng narrated the story
“Mr Amoah parked his motorcycle along the road on the Keniago high street, and tried to cross the road, he was unfortunately clash by the tipper truck while crossing the road”.
“Some residents who were present at the time rushed him to hospitals but was pronounced dead upon arrival “. A resident, Nana Ampong told OTEC News.
The residents continued that, the tipper truck driver after the sad incident vamoosed over fear of being lynched.
He later reported himself to police in the area to assist investigation.
Body of the deceased has been kept at the Saint Martins hospital at Agroyesum for preservation.
