An insensitive mother is said to have allegedly dumped her two weeks old baby into a public toilet on Tuesday morning at Gomoa Potsin Junction in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
According to source, the unknown mother dumped the baby boy in a toilet and fled away.
An eye witness speaking with Eric Owusu Amponsah narrated that, he went to ease himself and heard a voice of a baby screaming.
He then started searching around and later realised it was a baby that had been dumped in the public toilet so I called for help to rescue the baby.
“God being so good, the victim baby is still alive and was rushed to Gomoa Postin hospital for treatment” he added.
The Gomoa Potsin Polyclinic Nurse in Charge confirmed off recorded to Bryt Fm News and revealed the baby is responding to treatment.
