An educationist and entrepreneur,. Mr Sule Yayah has urged the vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumiah and the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuhu Osman Sharabutu to champion a cause that will transform education at the basic level in Muslim communities across the country.

Mr Sule Yayah was reacting to a request made by a group of teachers and school children at PakyinNo. 2 for the establishment of a modern basic educational facility for Muslim kids.

According to Mr Sule Yayah any such direction can better be championed by the two prominent Muslims
He said transformation of the Makaranta as Muslim basic education is commonly referred to can assume the form of equipping the schools with modern gadgets to aid both teaching and learning.

“We’re in an age and era where scientific innovations have boosted both learning and these can also be placed at the disposal of children attending Muslim basic schools ”

According to Mr Sule Yayah who is also the CEO of Tony One Group of Companies, . both teachers and pupils of the Mankaranta need to be motivated by making the school environment conducive.

“This means they have to be provided with modern gadgets or tools before this objective can be achieved.
Stretching the issue of motivation further, Mr Sule Yayah noted that the process of skill and knowledge acquisition can only be fascinating if the pupils are introduced to modern methods of teaching.

He added that resourcing the basic schools for Muslim children can encourage them to endure the long period needed to stay in school to learn to become useful citizens .
