Manhyia South Constituents pleaded with delegates to retain NAPO

The constituents in the Manhyia South has made a passionate appeal to delegates to vote massively for Dr. Mathiew Opoku Prempeh aka NAPO the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency and retain him to continue with the total developmental agenda of the area.

Mame Fremaah and Madam Ama Nkrumah of Dichemso and CPC residents in the constituency and who presided a press briefing at Ashanti Newtown (Ashtown) last Friday, January 19, 2024, are of the view that, Manhyia South can not afford to lose the Energy Minister as their legislature in this crucial time when he is poised to bring development across the constituency.
According to the electorates, their law maker is development oriented and care for everyone in the constituency, because he is approachable and always ready listen to everybody irrespective of one’s status in society, being the aged, needy or the vulnerable.

The constituents reiterated that, the MP Dr NAPO as he is affectionately called is a unifier and for that matter, does not discriminates irrespective of the political party one’s belongs to, as sees himself as the representing everyone in the constituency.
They entreated the delegates to renew his mandate to continue serving the constituency by addressing their basic needs, as he always being supportive to the needy in his jurisdiction.

Mr Dwumfour Joseph Junior aka Joe Waladi, leader of Volunteers for NAPO who is spoke with the media aside the press briefing disclosed that, January 27th, 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary is an opportunity and moment of truth for the constituents especially delegates in the Manhyia South to demonstrate their appreciation to the Member of Parliament.

He indicated that, the MP’s contributions to infrastructural development and human resource development and the construction of town roads within the area is unmatched and uncountable.
He disclosed that, the Volunteer was inaugurated in 2021 to showcase the good works of the MP and to also motivate or encourage him to do more to the total development and raising the standards of living for the electorates.

Mr. Dwumfour is of the believe that, the call from the electorates in the constituency on delegates to renew Dr. Mathiew Opoku Prempeh is in the right direction, because people of his caliber that are not selfish needed in Parliament to champion the welfare of their people.

 

Dr. Mathiew Opoku Prempeh aka NAPO is the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South a former Minister of Education in the Nana Addo lead government first term and now the. Current Energy Minister, who is constesting the seat for the fourth time and would be having a face-off with Madam Helena Pinaman Owusu, the MP former constituency Women’s Organizer on the January 27, 2024 NPP Parliamentary primaries.
