A suspected gay has been arrested for sodomising a child at Koforidua Timber market at Old-Estate in the Eastern region.
Workers at the Timber market massively beat the suspect for sodomising the child who was on his way to school alone at the time.
‘‘I saw him lying on the small boy on a table when I was on my way to work, I called the man (suspect) and asked what he was doing. The child responded that he has been sodomised” an eyewitness told Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt Fm.
Another eyewitness, however, advised parents and guardians to take the welfare of their children seriously especially taking into account their to and fro school.
The child was later sent to the hospital for treatment
The suspect has since been handed over to Agartha police station for investigations.
