The Assembly Member of Mpatuam West Electoral area in the Amansie West district of the Ashanti Region, Hon Fredrick Nkansah popularly known as ( Yentumi) together with the People has cut sod for the construction of
ultramodern 5 bed room Police apartment to help ensure peace and security in the Community.
The colourful event was grace by traditional leaders,politicians and the entire people in the community. The project after it completion is expected to beef up security in the area.
In a short ceremony held at Mpatuam in Amansie West District of Ashanti, Hon
Fredrick Nkansah said the project is
initiated and being financed by some benevolent individual within the community.
Hon. Fredrick Nkansah assured the people’s readiness to support this important project but urged them to also come on board to make this project to become reality.
He revealed that safety for the people is one of the topmost priorities, hence there is the need as an assembly man to put up sustaining measure to solve this problem.the issue of quality security service is a share responsibility between the government and other keen stakeholders so as an assembly member representing my people there is the need to put measures to address the security service in my area.”he added”
Hon.Fredrick Nkansah aka Yentumi advised the Contractor to work hard to ensure he meets the six months timeline and also tasked the People of the Community to keep eyes on the project since it will remain property of the town after its completion.
On his part, the contractor for the project, Mr Abraham Nsiah of AA79 Company Limited, assured Assembly member and the People of the Community that he will make sure to complete the project on the stipulated time.
