Yamfo CAC Circuit Pastor Urges Politicians to Prioritize Peace Ahead of NPP Flagbearer Selection

The Circuit Pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CAC), Yamfo Circuit, Rev. Charles Kwarteng, has called on politicians to prioritize peace and unity over conflict as Ghana maintains its reputation as a peaceful and democratic nation.

Rev. Kwarteng specifically appealed to members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), ahead of the selection of the party’s next flagbearer, to conduct themselves responsibly, ensuring a transparent and peaceful process free from violence and unnecessary confrontations. He emphasized that the nation’s democratic credentials must be protected and urged political actors to work together in the interest of national peace and development.

The remarks were made during a thanksgiving service at the Yamfo CAC Church following Rev. Kwarteng’s ordination as a Reverend Minister, officiated by CAC Chairman, Apostle Dr. Samuel Amponsah Frimpong.

In his address, Rev. Kwarteng expressed heartfelt gratitude to Apostle Dr. Frimpong for his unwavering support, not only towards him personally but also to the entire Christ Apostolic Church International. He further commended members of the Yamfo CAC Church for their loyalty and unity, acknowledging the significant role they played throughout his journey in ministry.

Rev. Kwarteng’s message underscores the critical role of religious leaders in fostering peace and encouraging political actors to prioritize the nation’s well-being over partisan interests.
