WillingWay recovery and rehabilitation centre wins Best Holistic and Mental Health Advocacy NGO of the year

The lights shone brightly at the Lancaster Hotel in Kumasi, casting a warm glow over the gathered guests at the 2nd edition of the Ashanti Business Merit Awards (ABMA) and conference night. Among the esteemed attendees were business leaders, entrepreneurs, and institutions that had made significant contributions to the Ashanti region’s growth and development.

As the evening’s festivities unfolded, the WillingWay Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre was announced as the winner of the Best Holistic and Mental Health Advocacy NGO of the year award. Lydia Abena Manu Adofo(Mrs) the Centre’s Chief Executive Officer, beamed with pride as she accepted the award, her eyes shining with gratitude.

In her acceptance speech, Mrs. Adofo expressed her heartfelt thanks to the organizers for recognizing her tireless efforts. She acknowledged that the journey had not been easy, but credited her heavenly strength and the support of philanthropists for enabling her to stay in the industry for nearly 20 years.

As Mrs. Manu Adofo stood at the podium, award in hand, she was a testament to the power of perseverance and compassion. The WillingWay Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre’s win was a well-deserved recognition of its holistic approach to mental health advocacy and its impact on the community.
