What did you do with the IGF? – Atwima Nwabiagya Youth demands

Concern Citizens of Atwima Nwabiagya South are demanding an account from their Municipal Cheif Executive, Hon. Michael Amoah Awuku on what he did with the Assembly’s Internally Generated Fund (IGF).

According to the group, during the 2020 election campaign, all new projects found in the Atwima Nwabiagya South was indicating that, the project was done by their Member of Parliament, Hon. Emmanuel Adjie Anhwere so they are asking the MCE to give an account on the IGF that the Assembly generated from the people in Atwima Nwabiagya South.

Speaking in an interview with the media, the Secretary for the Group, Mr. Kwabena Darko averred that, the Atwima Nwabiagya South have been given a status of Municipality but not even a single stretch of Kilometer road have been constructed.
Notwithstanding, he disclosed that, during the construction of the Abuakwa market complex, the MCE ordered the traders to pay an amount of GHc 30,000 each but after completion, he the MCE has denied the traders what they paid for.

He added” It’s very disgusting ,the MCE ordered these poor traders to pay 30,000.00 each for allocation but after completion he claim to relocate them to some unknown place without refunding their money , we urgently need accountability into all these matters”.
