Using Small Diapers Can Harm Babies – Power Specialist Herbal Hospital CEO Warns Nursing Mothers

Oheneyere Dr. Akosua Adu Ayaa, Chief Executive Officer of Power Specialist Herbal Hospital, has advised nursing mothers to be mindful of the diaper sizes they use on their babies, warning that small diapers can negatively affect their children’s waist development.

Speaking during an educational session on Monday, Dr. Adu Ayaa explained that many mothers unknowingly cause discomfort to their babies by using diapers that are too tight. She stressed that choosing the right diaper size is essential for a baby’s health and overall well-being.

“It is not good for nursing mothers to use small diapers on their babies, especially if the child is big. This can put pressure on their waist and cause unnecessary discomfort,” she said.

She further encouraged mothers to be proactive in caring for their children, emphasizing that they play a crucial role in shaping the future generation.

“Our children are the future, and we must take good care of them while also guiding them to become responsible leaders tomorrow,” she added.

Nursing mothers at the event expressed their appreciation for the education, noting that they had learned valuable insights about proper baby care. Many pledged to pay closer attention to their children’s diapering needs to ensure their comfort and health.

The Power Specialist Herbal Hospital remains committed to promoting maternal and child health, regularly engaging communities with educational programs to enhance childcare practices in Ghana.
