The body of a first year student of bueman senior high school known as AGBANU GODFRED was found dead in water this morning at pusupu a farming community in the Nkwanta south municipality of the Oti Region.
This happened after two days of non stop rain that got all the roads in the area flooded. GODFRED returned from Accra to prepare for school since school has resume but on his way the motorbike he was riding drowned with him.
The assembly member for PISUPU electoral area, Hon Jeremiah MENSAH said all efforts to get the body out of the water yesterday proved futile but God being so good the body has been found today Tuesday 6/09/2022 and efforts are being made go and burry the body.
Some of the residents also expressed worry about the deplorable nature of their roads and calling on government to help fix their bridges for them.
However the member of parliament for Nkwanta south constituency Hon Dr Geoffrey Kini visited the area to sympathize with the family and to assess situation on grounds.
