Over 700 Widows and Aged at Tikrom a Community in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region could not hide their Joy when they received packages from Nana Oti Awere ll the chief of Tikrom to celebrate the new eve.
Items donated include, Clothes, bags of Rice, Cooking oil, Chicken, Sardine, Drinks, Biscuits and other things.
Presenting the items, Nana Oti Awere ll stated that, the donation was aimed at putting smiles on the face of the widows and aged and the needy on the special occasion, there is the need to take care of the welfare of the widows and aged in my community is very important to me, most of these widows and aged in Tikrom are Vulnerable and needed to be cared for.
Tikromhene Nana Oti Awere ll edged that, donation was made possible through the support of individuals and corporate institutions and called on others to also support the campaign to assist the widows and aged in the Tikrom.
On behalf of the Donors Mr Anthony Kwabena Logosu CEO Logosu Farms Tikrom said the widows and aged are human just as any other individual and needed to be taken good care of since they are Vulnerable and need to support and empower them to improve their living.
Mr Logosu reveal that it’s his mindful and sensitive to the welfare of widows and aged and the vulnerable, his determination to do everything he could do to make thing a better for vulnerable not Tikrom alone but catchment area and not occasionally but in terms of endearment .
The beneficiary widows and aged expressed they sincerely appreciation to Tikromhene Nana Oti Awere for his continuous humanitarian benevolence describing him as a cheerful giver.
The widows and aged shower blessing on Tikromhene for his annual donation to the needy when the Christmas celebration was up.
They said that, Nana Oti Awere ll constantly donation items such as Rice, Chicken’s, Sardine, Clothes, Drinks, Biscuits and other things to put a smile upon our face.
