To qualify to be a policeman or woman in Ghana, there are some requirements one has to be eligible for. The applicant has to be a Ghanaian and has to be between the ages of 18 and 25 years. Again, the height of the male applicant should also be 173cm or 5.8ft and 165cm or 5.4ft for a female.
Though the height is a major requirement but it seems a lot of people who are shorter than the required height are able to bypass nowadays by paying huge sums of money to some people in authority.
Today, a picture of two policemen is trending on social media. The picture has caused a lot of discussions from Ghanaians. Looking at the picture, one of them is very short and the other tall. One can clearly see that the shorter police is not 173cm or 5.8ft tall. However, he has been able to pass through to become a police officer.
