An aggrieved citizens of Bosome Freho District has expressed concern about the suspension of Hon. Yaw Danso ( DCE) Bosome Freho District for an alleged tape being circulated in the media fraternity for his involvement in galamsey menace in the district.
Respondingto the DCE’s suspension by the spokesperson for the said group, Mr Eric Yaw Agyei who doubles as an Assembly Member and an Entrepreneur described the tape as palpable false and should not be given any needed attention by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the good people of the Republic of Ghana.He said that, “after failing to champion the course for passing a vote of no confidence on our Hon. Yaw Danso (DCE), these same people in one way or the other initiated another move to tarnish the hard earned reputation of Bosome Freho DCE by associating him to galamsey menace in the district which the government is much concern with and believes that by so doing will grab the attention of the President who is also seriously fighting illegal mining in Ghana.
Mr. Yaw Agyei stated that, A former Member of Parliament of the Constituency, Hon Joyce A. Dei, has also been caught on tape urging journalist in the country to hit hard on Hon. Yaw Danso so that President will sack him overnight. To the group, His Excellency the President need not to waste much time to realise that the purported tape was orchestrated by detractors of our workaholic DCE who has always been there for the party as well as the good people of Bosome Freho District.We can say on authority that, the said tape is not the voice of our DCE, beside a doctored one. Upon carefully listening to the audio, how it is conspicuous to find out how the audio has been tailored to suit the situation.
The group’s spokesperson also said “no District Chief Executive in the history of Bosome Freho has ever worked tremendously than that of Hon. Yaw Danso, so we were shocked to find this kind of tape and ridiculous atrosities flying in the public domain.”In President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the Local Government Ministry’s quest to ascertain the truth on this audio levelled against Hon. Yaw Danso, we will humbly urge them to exercise franchise on the tape in question since it is a doctored tape, has no basis and does not deserve any attention. Adhering to this tape will allow in flow of such tapes to implicate many MMDCEs who are working tirelessly to ensure NPP government break the 8. We the aggrieved youth are appealing to the President and the Local Government Minister to reconsider the decision of suspending a firm, respectful and a sincere son of the party, Hon. Yaw Danso because he has proven to be among the best DCEs in corridors of the Ashanti Region.
On behalf of the good people of Bosome Freho District, the group appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to kindly reinstate Hon. Yaw Danso ( DCE) to complete his good and numerous projects initiated and also rescind his decision at the time of mourning his beloved wife.
