Tepamanhene Commemorates Silver Jubilee of His Reign.

 

Professor Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I has observed the 25th Anniversary of his enstoolment as Omanhene of Tepa Traditional Area, in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality in the Ashanti Region.
The three-day celebration was climaxed with a Grand Durbar, last Saturday, themed “25 Years Of Leadership and Development”.
Addressing the Durbar, Prof. Nana Adusei Atwenewaa Ampem I disclosed that Otumfuo, the Asantehene has a hand in his “success” as Omanhene of Tepa. Adding that as a paramount chief, you need to be accountable to “your people, Otumfuo, as well as Ghana”.
According to Prof. Nana Ampem, as a chief you should be remembered by “your developmental works”; hence Tepa making headways, in terms of Hospital, Schools among others, during his reign. Adding that “ you honour yourself as a Chief by helping and developing town”.

Prof. Nana Ampem expressed his gratitude towards the people of Tepaman and it’s Local Council for their unwavering support. Urging people to come help develop Tepa.
Otumfuo’s Representative, Nana Asamoah Gyamfi Sekyere II, Chief of Nsuta disclosed that Tepa is the “spiritual support” of Asanteman. Noting that “as a person, you should know where you from, reached, and going to”, emphasising that this has helped Tepamanhene in achieving “alot” in his 25 years reign.

Nana Sekyere urged all “Asantes” to be proud of their herirtage. Noting that natives of Tepa are proud to say, they hail from there, all because of the good works of Tepamanhene.

Meanwhile, PETRUS FEDEI SEMINARY (USA) incollaboration with Divine Key Believers Network International and Prince Hampel Word Outreach (UK) has celebrated Tepamanhene’s “Honourary Professorship Conferement”, at an Award Ceremony.

The “Award Ceremony”,which is part of the three-day celebration of the Omanhene’s Silver Jubilee, sought to award people, who have helped developed Tepa Traditional Area.
Professor Nana Adusei Atwenewaa Ampem II awarded the Principal of Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College for his hardwork, and for transforming and elevating the College.
The Principal of Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Dr. Albert Opoku, an “Awardee” expressed his gratitude for the award bestowed on him, and further thanked Tepamanhene, and those who have helped in realising his “vision” as the Principal, for over two now. Adding that “Phase 1” of three storey building is done, hoping the “Phase 2 and 3” will be completed next year.

Dr. Opoku disclosed that Nana Adusei Atwenewaa Ampem II has been “very helpful” in the development of the College, urging civil societies, philanthropist amongst others, to come to the aid of the College.
