Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College Holds Free Medical Screening for Over 700 residents
Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College as part of their 2022 SRC celebration has organized Free health screening exercise for over 700 residents of Tepa with a team comprising of medical doctors, laboratory, technicians, physician assistants, dentists and nurses drawn from the Hospital in the area.
The screening exercise sought to provide safe and proper healthcare services to the aged in communities to improve on their health and bring joy to them.
Residents benefited from the exercise were diagnosed and treated for blood pressure, hypertension, blood sugar level, diabetes, hepatitis B and malaria among others.
beneficiaries to aid the treatment of various ailments diagnosed were referred to Municipal hospital.
Speaking to media in an interview, The principal of Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College Dr Albert Opoku called on Ghanaians to go for regular health check-up to know their health status.
He noted that if diseases were detected early, it saves cost in treatment, and that late detection becomes very difficult and expensive to treat.
On their part, The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the authorities of Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College for the gesture.
