Fidelity Bank Refutes Collapse Rumors

In response to recent rumors regarding its financial stability, Fidelity Bank has issued a firm denial, addressing concerns about its potential collapse. During a media engagement event held at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi on August 16, 2024, Mr. Atta Yeboah Gyan, Deputy Managing Director of the bank, strongly refuted the claims.

Mr Atta Yeboah Gyan described the rumors as “false and misleading,” asserting that Fidelity Bank remains robust and resilient. He emphasized that the bank continues to operate normally and reassured customers, stakeholders, and the general public of its strong market position. As one of Ghana’s top five banks, Fidelity Bank’s financial performance, regulatory compliance, and industry recognition support its stability and ongoing success.
