Support Dr. Bawumia to Sustain Ghana’s Development – NPP Patron Appeals

Mr. Robert Osei, widely known as Atulupeepe, a prominent patron of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Amansie West Constituency, has passionately called on Ghanaians to vote massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 general elections.

According to him, a vote for Dr. Bawumia represents a vote for continuity in governance, which will enable the NPP to complete the numerous transformational projects initiated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Addressing the media, Mr. Osei underscored the need for stable leadership to drive the country’s developmental agenda. He pointed out that key initiatives such as the Free Senior High School program, the One District One Factory project, and other infrastructure developments are laying a solid foundation for economic growth and should not be disrupted by a change in government.

“Ghanaians must ensure that the progress we have witnessed under President Akufo-Addo is not derailed. Dr. Bawumia has the experience and vision to continue this development and take Ghana to the next level,” he stressed.

Appeal for Media Responsibility

In addition to his call for electoral support, Mr. Osei urged media practitioners to exercise restraint and professionalism in their reporting during the election period. He warned that sensational and biased reportage could inflame tensions, potentially threatening the peace and stability of the nation.

“I appeal to all journalists to be responsible in their work. Avoid publishing stories that could incite violence or cause chaos. Let us use the media to unite the nation, not divide it,” he said.

A Call for Peaceful Elections

Mr. Osei also reminded Ghanaians of their civic responsibility to participate peacefully in the electoral process. He emphasized that national unity should take precedence over partisan interests, urging all stakeholders to work together to ensure free, fair, and credible elections.

As December 7 approaches, the call for continuity and responsible media engagement resonates with many Ghanaians who hope for a peaceful and development-focused transition.
