Ms. Rita Nti Acheampong, a Senior Housemistress at Prince of Peace Senior High School in Kumasi, has shown exemplary leadership by providing breakfast to students who participated in the National Sanitation Day exercise.

A total of 22 students from the Feminine Educational Centre, located at South Suntreso, were served breakfast on Saturday, February 7, before engaging in a clean-up exercise that covered the route from Bekwai Roundabout to Sofoline Interchange.

The Senior Housemistress’ dedication and commitment to environmental sustainability motivated the students, who were dressed in their SRC white T-shirts and blue tracksuits, to give their best during the exercise.

Passersby and residents along the busy route commended the students for their efforts and urged them to maintain the cleanliness of the environment. Many also called on other schools, institutions, and organizations to actively participate in the National Sanitation Day initiative to promote a cleaner and healthier community.

Ms. Acheampong’s gesture not only reinforced the importance of discipline and community service among students but also highlighted how individual leadership can inspire meaningful civic engagement.
