Redox Plus, a premier Ghanaian event management firm, has unveiled a vibrant calendar of activities for the upcoming December season.

Designed to celebrate the intersection of heritage and holiday cheer, the lineup features music, dance, and guided tours of landmark historical sites across the Ashanti Region.

Vision: “Asanteman Goes Gold”:
During a media launch last Friday, Mr. Daniel Ashon, CEO of Redox Plus, announced that the festivities officially dubbed Sankofa Jamboree 2026 will run from December 21st to 26th.

He promised that the event would “light up” Kumasi with a rich blend of fashion shows, food bazaars, and musical performances.

“At Redox Plus, we are incredibly enthusiastic about this year’s celebrations under the theme ‘Asanteman Goes Gold’,” Mr. Ashon stated.

He stated, “Our goal is to bring the unique culture, identity, and values of the Ashanti people to the global stage.”

Ghana Tourism Authority:
Mr. Rudolph Agyei, Regional Director of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), commended Redox Plus for their commitment to cultural preservation.

He specifically praised the organizers for selecting a theme centered on sustainable cultural identity, noting that such initiatives are vital for youth empowerment.

“Cultural heritage is a dynamic resource,” Mr. Agyei remarked.

He added that, “It requires more than just passive preservation; it needs to be made relevant to the modern world to ensure sustainability. Many nations have successfully repackaged their creative arts by involving the youth as active participants rather than mere observers.”

He further emphasized that through skills development and focused heritage programs, Ghana can effectively “export” its culture to the global social and digital space.

Institutional Support:
The Ashanti Regional Deputy Director for the Center for National Culture (CNC), Mrs. Araba Abokoma Essuman, also lauded the initiative.

She reaffirmed the CNC’s commitment to providing the necessary logistical and institutional support to ensure the Jamboree’s success.

“The Center for National Culture is actively engaged in preserving the values and identities of the Ghanaian people,” Mrs. Essuman noted.

She stressed, “We stand ready to assist Redox Plus in projecting the rich heritage of Asanteman and Ghana to the rest of the world.”
